The government’s South East Sydney Transport Strategy considers the extension of Sydney Metro to the south east of Sydney. Transport for NSW sought project strategy and development advice on how this project can be best be planned and investigated.

Our people’s involvement

• Assessed, optimised and presented a roadmap providing step-by-step guidance in the effective project development of the metro extension, leading to an investment decision

• Assessed and presented key themes that would underpin a compelling case to extend the metro, including the creation of a logical flow roadmap

• Developed a timeline of development activities

• Drafted an iterative assessment and MCA process, progressive filtering options to best value for money outcomes

• Designed a team structure to best enable development, business case, multi-modal, and place-making considerations

• Collated and synthesised all final roadmaps, initiative and timelines into an implementation pack
