The NSW government sought to update population projections for the state, regions and local government areas in NSW. The population forecast updates set the Governments common planning assumptions and inform the development of Government led strategy and project development.

Our people’s involvement

• Responsible for the project management and delivery of the Population Projections Project, Annual Population Insights, and the Population Matters Forum

• Ensuring a high quality and on-time delivery of the Population Projections Project, Annual Population Insights, and the Population Matters Forum

• Providing management support to the Executive Leadership Team

• Support, coordinate and manage subject matter experts and service providers

• Management of the project milestones and risk register, including facilitating regular risk review meetings

• Supporting the internal Economics, Population and Land Use Forecasting teams.
